Turnkey feasibility study transforming 120 Grand Street into a cultural arts center.
Overview
In response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued in 2020, a comprehensive redevelopment concept was developed to transform the vacant, deteriorated building at 120 Grand Street into a vibrant cultural arts destination for the City of Newburgh and the surrounding Hudson Valley community. The project focused on revitalizing an underutilized property while establishing a dynamic center for arts, culture, education, and community engagement.
The scope included a detailed feasibility study and conceptual design package featuring architectural plans, elevations, building sections, construction details, photorealistic 3D renderings, and comprehensive cost analyses. Developed as a turnkey redevelopment strategy, the proposal provided stakeholders with a clear vision for the adaptive reuse of the historic structure, demonstrating both the project’s architectural potential and its capacity to catalyze economic development and cultural revitalization in downtown Newburgh.
